Buachaille Etive Beag

Buachaille Etive Beag, otherwise known as ‘The Wee Buachaille’ is the collective name for the ridge containing the two Munros, Stob Dubh (958m) and Stob Coire Raineach (925m). This impressive ridge line in the heart of Glencoe offers us a fairly relaxed day, by the areas standards, with wonderful views along two of the most talked about Scottish glens – Coe and Etive.

From our starting point, we head south through the Lairig Eilde before branching up towards the bealach between our two summits. From here we will take our time enjoying the fabulous panoramic views of our surroundings before making our final ascents to ‘bag’ our two Munros.

Some of the scenic highlights included on this walking tour are: the stunning Aonach Eagach ridge; the fantastic views over the famous Buachaille Etive Mor; the glistening Loch Etive; and, the Bidean nam Bian massif which dramatically guards the south side of Glencoe.
