Buachaille Etive Mor

Buachaille Etive Mor, meaning the great Shepard of Etive, is the collective name given to the ridge line containing 4 peaks, 2 of which are Munros – Stob Dearg and Stob na Broige. Stob Dearg is one of Scotland’s most famous Munro peaks. It can be seen as an iconic distinctive pyramid when approaching Glencoe on the A82 from the South. The view of the mountain from this direction is probably one of the most photographed places in Scotland, and is commonly found on postcards.
