The Pentland Hills sit proudly overlooking the city of Edinburgh, forming an impressive backdrop for both residents and the city’s visitors alike. However, the splendour of Edinburgh, Firth of Forth and surrounding areas can only be truly appreciated from the elevated viewing position of these hills.
Allermuir, although not the tallest of the Pentland peaks, provides the greatest, unbeatable panoramic views of Scotland’s capital city and its surroundings. The summit of this fabulous lowland hill is our main objective on this tour, along with Caerketton, which towers over Scotland’s largest dry ski slope, offering equally remarkable views across Edinburgh.
We also have the option to add in a third summit for those wishing to explore more of the Pentlands skyline.
